Pep Up Those Patios, People!
Whether you have sprawling acreage or a covered balcony it’s time to get those outdoor living spaces spruced up for some summer fun and entertaining.
Make sure your furniture is clean and inviting. If your cushions are looking a little dingy, replace them or if they are made of acrylic fiber as most Sunbrella fabrics are, give them a good scrubbing with a solution of a mild soap, bleach and water, then rinse them well. Make sure your wood furniture is clean and oiled or, if you let it age, naturally rub it down with a medium- gauge steel wool to give it a nice patina. Pick up some new throw pillows to give your seating some color and zip. They are available in a host of colors and patterns to go with any décor.

Outdoor furniture is available in a multitude of materials, including, but not limited to, cast and wrought aluminum, all-weather and natural weaves, and woods such as teak and bamboo. Don’t be afraid to mix the materials for a more interesting look.
